Description: At this senior home, we helped residents stay connected with their distant loved ones through navigating technology. We assisted them in sending text messages, making phone calls, composing emails, and downloading important apps. Volunteering at this senior home, encouraged seniors to stay engaged with the world around them.
Location:
The Watermark at San Jose
Description: During our classes, we focused on making technology more accessible and safer for the residents. We helped set up and troubleshoot various electrical appliances, such as smart TVs and voice assistants. Using the LifeLoop app, we guided them through its features in order to participate in community activities. Additionally, we taught seniors how to avoid AI scams and protect their personal and financial information.

Description: We had the privilege of being invited to The Villages Country Club to give a presentation about artificial intelligence. As AI continues to advance rapidly, staying informed and aware of its impact on our daily lives is more important than ever. Our talk covered the basics of AI, its current uses, and how it might shape the future. The presentation was very successful, as many attendees were engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and shared their own perspectives. It was a rewarding experience to connect across generations and help make a complex topic more accessible to the community.
